maylands - derelict carpark
beside michaels house is an abandoned 2 story carpark. if you go through the hole in this fence and climb along the brick retaining wall, this is a shortcut that links kelvin street to caledonian ave. one time when someone was chasing me for going through their bin, back when being a b&c man was more unconventional, i lost them by going through this shortcut and then jumping the fence into my own property.
one time we were messing around on this carpark, me, tim, al, laurent and tom. i think i said hey guys, watch this, and i threw my beer onto the roof of a neaby house. we all scampered and ran. al or something had left something behind so we all crept back. then i snatched a beercan from laurents hand and threw it onto the roof again. run run run! i said, and in the state of the thrill, tim decided to also throw his beer bottle off the roof of the carpark which smashed on the asphault below. this was a bit too far. tim, what the fuck everyone said when we got back to michaels.
mike was cooking and asked what had been going on. someone said that tim had smashed a bottle and mike said "ben, i don't like to tell you off, but if you let your friends do something like that again, i wont let you live here".
once everyone had left i was still feeling bad and went back to clean up the glass, but someone else had cleaned it up. this was the second bottle smashing incident on kelvin street.
