maylands - the beach
at the edge of the peninsula is some sand that goes into a body of water which is my definition of the beach.
i don't know if it's safe to swim here anymore. until the 1970s, everyone swam in the river. the river was the beach. then pools got invented.
one time after flopfest 2019, me and my friends sat along this beach and i got drunk and someone smoked weed. it was a good experience.
