maylands - the bowls club
the bowls club has a cool rotunda shape. in 2019 we hired it out to host our amateur film festival flopfest.
this was one of the best flopfests, but an incident happened when a rudeman yelled "i'm bored" during a particuarly boring film and then left. a couple minutes later my friend nick morlet arrived late and sat down in this newly vacant chair. then during the intermission while nick was talking to the people behind him, the irate filmmaker waltzed over with a fresh midi of swan draft and poured it on to the innocent man's head.
