maylands - the savannah
you can trek around the shore of the whole peninsula until you get to the police hq on the south east corner. there the trail stops and there is a wasteland of scrubby bushes. a halfassed kanagroo trail kind of goes through this savannah but leads nowhere. ultimately after a while you realise you can go no further without meeting trouble from wild snakes or rogue policemen. it is like an earthbound level.
