maylands - the seasonal
next to lyric lane is a better pub called the seasonal who make all kinds of weird beer. they have some cool art on the wall and bands that play in the other room.
but one time my friend got us banned here for making a deez nuts joke to a waitress. i remember the long pause and the disgusted "ugh..." before she walked away and talked to the manager who then asked us to leave. we were very unhappy with our friend but he kept insisting it was hilarious.
so now whenever i go to the seasonal, i remember that feeling of wanting to escape my skin.
