maylands - the swamp
surrounded by noggos, bricklands and tranby estate is a tiny swamp. my love interest says that wetland is the preferred name for swamp now but i disagree. i prefer swamp.
i like this swamp. it smells like wet bark and fresh creek water. sometimes it smells quite bad. you can hear ducks and frogs and in summer, mosquitos.
you are not allowed to swim in this swamp.
