maylands - waterland
a free water park for very small children. there are no pools or slides, but it is a good place to splash about. i have never been here because i don't have kids and it would be weird if i just went by myself. maybe perth themepark life has made a video here.
before it was a drown-proof water park it was a drownable one. i almost drowned here as a 3 year old apparently because my mum was preoccupied trying to fit some cheezels onto all ten of my brothers fingers.
before it was maylands waterland, it was the site of mills pottery co. they didnt make funky mugs and bowls and pineapples but earthenware pipes for the maylands sewer system. they're still in place today, so when you flush the john, thank mills pottery co.
