on kelvin street is a tiny park with a big jacaranda tree whose flowers turn the colour of the purple clown popcorn.
this is the park where me and my lost love shared a pleasant half hour eating an array of baked goods from mandy's super deli: eccles cake, nanaimo slice, peppermint slice, pecan pie. then we went home and made love and then we washed our hands.
this is also the park where me and matt aitken made a video promo for camp doogs 2016. i had just turned my long hair into short hair and had also fallen for a terrible scam that morning. a man from the tax department had said i owed them one thousand dollars and that if i hung up, i would have to pay them two thousand dollars, and so they made me drive to the post office and buy a one thousand dollar Steam giftcard and then read out the digits, and just as i was about to tell him the last three ones, i realised that maybe this was not a guy from the ATO on the phone and i told him to take his telephone and stick it where the sun dont shine and i hung up and went to do something to relax, and then i realised, what if he trial and errors the last three digits until he gets to 746 or whatever so i drove back to the post office and said CANCEL CANCEL CANCEL, and they refunded me the transaction and i still had the gift card which i cashed in that day, so jokes on the telemarketer, he actually caused me to make money.
