along the funky alley is a small lot of weed-clotted land entirely closed in by asbestos fence. i'd always assumed it was someones backyard until i looked over and saw it was fully outside the graphics barrier, a real non-space.
recently someone ripped part of the fence down and set up their tent in the corner of the field. i think thats a good thing. if i ever become homeless, i know where to camp.
